Akai EA-G40 Stereo Graphic Equalizer

Image
Akai EA-G40 Stereo Graphic Equalizer, 8 bands. Used it for a while, but my current set-up doesn't really require equalizing, also, equalizers tend to add more wiring than I like in a system... I run everything flat, what you hear is what you get... K.I.S.S (Keep it simple and stupid)!

Akai CS-M3 Stereo Cassette Deck

Here are a pair of Akai CS-M3 Stereo Cassette Decks. Very honest little 2 headed deck - I found 2 of these in need of a home, unfortunately I never use them. They do have impressive VU meters though!

Akai AM-UO3 DC Stereo Integrated Amplifier

I have 3 of these, 2 silver and 1 black - nice little amps that are brigeable!  I used this to power individual sets of speakers,  a "front/back" type of layout plugged into a bridged controller. Rated at about 40 watts per channel. I'll post more photos later. I had it's smaller cousin the AM-UO2 as well, very similar.

Akai AT-2600 Stereo Tuner

Among the features: volume control, signal strength,  FM mute and mute control level, high blend, signal deviation meter. The AT-2600 is a great 5 gang AM-FM tuner from Akai, it complements the AM-2800 amplifier.

Akai AM-2800 Stereo Amplifier

This is the amp I use these days, an Akai AM-2800. It is rated at "real" 80 watts per channel. I use it to power my 4 Large Advent speakers, no sweat.

Original Large Advent Speakers

Walnut veneer with beveled front . The recommended way of stacking original "large" Advent speakers Just bought a foursome of "large" Advent speakers. These are the first models, with beveled-edged cabinets,  Recommended 4 speaker stacking : top speaker upside-down, tweeter to tweeter (only showing the 2 left speakers... of course, there is another pair on the right!) But this works as well: The famous tweeter: .
